    Great Places to See in Arizona

    The southwestern state of Arizona is the gateway to the Grand Canyon, a mile-deep gorge carved by the Colorado River.     Queen Creek

    Queen Creek is a town in Maricopa County, Arizona. It is located in the far southeast of the Phoenix metropolitan area. The population was 26,361 at the 2010 census. The town is a suburban area of Phoenix.

    Prescott

    Prescott, Arizona, located in central Arizona, has much to offer travelers. The city’s historic Whiskey Row is a popular spot for live music, and there are numerous bars and museums. The Sharlot Hall Museum documents pioneer era history, while the Smoki Museum features artifacts of the indigenous people of the Southwest. Visitors can hike the trails surrounding Watson Lake, home to hundreds of different species of birds.
